In efforts to gain cool points during the RNC, Justin Bieber was offered $5 million to perform at a Republican event during the convention, according to TMZ.
The reason you didn't see him there was reportedly because his manager threatened to quit if JB took the gig. That and he got some strong encouragement from pal LeBron James to turn it down as well.
TMZ says a source revealed that Bieber's manager Scooter Braun told Justin that the decision to perform was ultimately up to him, but if he did, then Braun would not be able to continue to represent him, out of principle. He felt the GOP was using JB as a tool.
