Skin Tone: Medium Olive
Hello, beauties!
I recently purchased some newly launched products from L.A Colors and I am so impressed with them. Today, I am going to review one of the L.A. Colors Iced Pigment Powders. I picked up two shades and here is the review of ‘Toasted’.
Price: INR 395 for 3 g
Product Description:
A highly pigmented powder with a bold, frosted metallic finish. Long lasting, buildableæeye color available in 12 dazzling shades. Each color is beautifully encapsulated in a flashy color matched metallic cube to attract and delight all makeup enthusiasts.
My Experience with L.A. Colors Iced Pigment Powder Toasted:
L.A. Colors Iced Pigment Powder comes in a gorgeous eye-catching mini pot with a metallic finish; it also has a colour-coded rose gold cap. This mini container has a nice geometrical shape, which makes it look super cute. There are some small round holes inside the container from where I can easily get the pigment. It is a safe and travel-friendly packaging. I absolutely love this packaging.
The shade ‘Toasted’ is a gorgeous rose gold shade and I can’t explain how much I love it. It is a super fresh rose gold colour, which looks very beautiful on the eyes. Such pretty shades are so much in trend in these days. I love the shade as it flatters all skin tones and looks gorgeous in summers.
This shade has fine microshimmer particles which provide a nice shine to the eyes without looking over the top. This shade is highly pigmented and doesn’t require multiple applications. Initially, it looks like a medium textured loose pigment powder, but once I apply it on my eyes, it turns into a super smooth and soft textured eyeshadow. It also blends quite easily on the eyes.
I need to take some pigment on a tray and then I apply it on my eyelids. I can apply it dry or with a wet brush. The formula feels very light and comfortable. The texture is very smooth and silky, hence it is easy to use, too. It blends effortlessly with other shades and provides a gorgeous, even finish to my makeup looks.
This pigment has a nice shiny frosted metallic finish which looks very attractive on the eyes. It even gives a nice dimension to eye makeup. I can use this pigment in various ways; for example, as body shimmer or as a highlighter. I mostly prefer to apply it on the centre of my eyelids and it looks so pretty on the inner corners too. I feel the quality is very nice and soft. Hence, it never feels patchy or dry on the eyes.
It has a flawless pearly look. Also, it doesn’t crease or look messy around the eyes. Generally, such eye pigments fall a lot during application and this one is also the same. So, I prefer to do my eye makeup first. Otherwise, removing such shimmer is quite hard. Coming to the staying power, this pigment lasts super long on my eyes. It lasts almost around 8 hours nicely.
It doesn’t spread on my face. It stays in its place nicely. Also, it is quite easy to wipe off and shimmers don’t create any mess. I have sensitive eyes, but this pigment powder has never irritated them. The packaging creates a slight chance of product wastage and that’s my only issue with this product.
I had been looking for this shade for long and have finally found my perfect rose gold pigment. It is super easy to use and the quality is quite impressive for this price. In this EOTD, I’ve used the shade Toasted on the lid, inner corner and lower lash line. I’ve used the other shade, Glisten, on the outer corner.
