Oh dear, it looks like Alexander Wang is trouble!
A 56 year old man is suing the designer for $50 million as he claims to have worked an 84 hour week in one of his sweatshops. The New York Daily News is reporting that Wenyu Lu passed out after a 25 hour shift with no break.
“30 workers claim they were forced to work 16 hours a day or longer — without overtime — in a suffocating, windowless, 200-square-foot room”
The post claims that Lu was fired on the 16th of February and believes that Wang has violated New York city labor laws.
